These are the first drawings Mara makes. We pass scripts, and then drawings, back and forth to each other until we think they're ready to begin production. These are the beginnings of each comic.
About
We have known each other since we were 8 years old and have been writing stories together since we met. M&E Comics began as M&E Stories in 3rd grade, when we were writing "scary" stories to read to our classmates. M&E stories was put on the back shelf for about 12 years and is finally making its comeback as M&E comics.
Emma is currently a film student and aspiring writer, and Mara is an art student and a talented artist. We are excited to be working together, telling stories that were 12 years in the making.
